In the news: World’s first IB special autism school appoints Deputy Headteacher

We are thrilled to announce that we have officially appointed a new Deputy Headteacher. Having been involved in the autism community for over 10 years, Stephanie Smith joins us having previously worked at Medeshamstede Academy in Peterborough, a similar size school with just over 100 students aged 4 – 16 with autism.

Stephanie has already started supporting us as well as the Local Authority with student admissions and is engaging with International Baccalaureate (IB) training to ensure the curriculum is both aligned with the IB philosophy as well as meeting the specific needs of the school community.
